Marsovan 1915 - Bertha Morley

Marsovan 1915-Bertha Morley

Edited by Hilmar Kaiser

Bertha Morley (1878-1973) was an American missionary from Mentor, Ohio. She first came to the Ottoman Empire in 1911 and began teaching music at Marsovan College in 1913. In 1915 she witnessed the Genocide of the Armenians. Her diary covers the period between May and September 1915.

Easily readable, her diary will bring the horrors of the Genocide to life so you and your family will never forget the trials past generations of Armenians survived. An excellent resource to teach your own children and grandchildren about that dark chapter of Armenian history.
