Armenia's Tatev Children's Choir, directed by Vachagan Navassardian, wistfully perform some energetic children's songs by composer Avedis Nazarian.

Nazarian was born in Kharpert in 1930, before his family fled to Aleppo, Syria, in 1931. He studied music with Parsegh Ganatchian, a well-known composer and student of famed Armenian musician Komitas. As he studied music, Nazarian romed the province of Agn and collected the folk songs sung by survivors of the Genocide. After furthering his studies in Lebanon and Venice, Italy, he began teaching and composing.

That Tatev Children's Choir was formed in 1993. The professionally-trained young singers are renowned worldwide for their skill and mastery.
