Directed by Hrayr Toukhanian, Assignment Berlin is the story of a courtroom drama that took place in Berlin in 1921, when a young man was brought to trial for the assassination of the ex Grand Vezir of the Ottoman Empire, Talaat Pahsa, who in 1915 was responsible for the extermination of 1.5 million Armenians.

The eyes of the world were focused on this trial, that involved the political, legal, and moral ramifications surrounding the assassination of a once powerful political figure.
