Lilit Amirjanyan was born in Artsakh and has been deeply inspired by the centuries-old Armenian Christian heritage of that region. Today she is a teacher and resident artist of Armenia's Institude of Ancient Manuscripts. Lilit is an expert on Armenian miniatures.

She has combined the the tasks of the scribe and illustrator of the medieval times and produced her own work of superb 86 illustrations in this art book. A continuation of an old art by a sensitive modern artist.
